We work with artists to include creatives in all mediums to produce product drops that are inspired by the acorn and what the acorn means to them. Sharing the message of the Acorn through the artists' eyes, interpreted in their voice, finding expression in their individual medium.

About the Artist

Artist Bio

Milena Reggiani is an Italian artisan specializing in the creation of textile jewelry. Her work focuses on creating limited-edition macramé jewelry using only her hands, either knotted entirely by hand without the use of any other tools or freehand-embroidered using nothing but a simple loom, a needle, and thread.

For her macramé pieces, she favors subjects drawn from nature or human history that evoke symbolic meanings. She studies their structure and shape to capture their essence and, with just a few knots, makes them easily recognizable, transforming them into genuine amulets and talismans to be worn or given to loved ones as a wish for good fortune.

Embroidery, on the other hand, is often used for message-bracelets made of natural cotton, onto which words or phrases are embroidered: the bracelet is like a blank page on which to write words of love, hope, and personal growth that deeply touch the soul of those who read them while wearing them.

Milena has been fortunate enough to turn what was a hobby into a career. After years working as a designer and product developer for fashion accessories companies, she began to nurture her passion for costume jewelry and was soon contacted by stores throughout Italy and in Milan, the city where she has always lived and worked.

She participates in the city's underground markets and sells her pieces to private individuals or concept stores such as PalermoUno and TerzoSenso. A small selection of her work can be found in the shop of the Villa Necchi Campiglio Museum, a FAI (Italian National Trust) heritage site. During the holiday season, she partners with non-profit foundations to support charitable fundraisers, such as Fondazione Crescere Insieme ETS in Turin.

She currently does not sell in the US so we are thrilled and excited  to get to introduce Milena, her brand and her beautiful pieces to you for this special collaboration.

Artist Inspiration & Message for the Project

Become Who You Are

Crushed by the expectations of a high-performance society, we forget our true essence and end up following paths that distance us from our uniqueness. Each of us has an innate destiny that must be discovered and nurtured.

My collaboration with The Acorns Project made me reflect on how much energy and potential lies within even a small acorn, which throughout human history has always been a symbol of life, fertility, and possibility. A large tree can grow from a small seed. Even the majestic and strong oak tree was once a small, fragile bud, but it had enormous potential.

So, I decided to create small, wearable spring oak leaves that could serve as a tool for self-reflection and for thinking about one's potential aspirations, no matter what stage of life one is at: as a child, with endless possibilities; as a teenager, in the midst of building one's identity; and in adulthood, when one can reinvent and develop a part of oneself that has been neglected for too long.

Part of the work created for The Acorns Project is also dedicated to the “amore” and “coltivati” message bracelets: “amore” (love) for oneself and to give to others; “coltivati” (cultivate yourself) meaning taking care of oneself and one's personal growth, just as one would care for a plant, which requires attention and dedication.

Artist Inspiration & Message for the Project

Where Magic Begins

A Symbol of Hope, Prosperity, Growth, Strength and New Beginnings - A Collaboration with The Acorns Project™

As an artist, I am constantly drawn to the quiet power of symbols—those small, often overlooked details that carry profound meaning. When I first encountered The Acorns Project, something stirred deeply within me. The acorn, so simple in form, holds within it the entire potential of a mighty oak. It is a reminder that even the smallest seed, when nurtured with care and intention, can grow into something vast, resilient, and deeply rooted.

This collaboration speaks to everything I believe in—hope that rises quietly, prosperity that is cultivated over time, strength that grows through challenge, and the promise of new beginnings that await us all.

Through my art, I aim to give visual form to these invisible truths. I paint not just what I see, but what I feel—the unseen energy of transformation, the whisper of the future carried inside the present. Working with The Acorns Project has allowed me to connect these values with my creative process, and to offer something that resonates far beyond the canvas.

In every brushstroke, I seek to honor the journey of becoming—of unfolding. Just like the acorn, we are all filled with untapped beauty and strength, waiting for the right moment to bloom.

Together, through this project, may we plant seeds of inspiration and watch them grow—into forests of possibility.
